Purposes and Origins
- Each Program Planning Committee is formed two years before the planned program. Hence, this committee was organized in the fall of 2007, meeting first at ALA Midwinter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA. Our work will conclude in Chicago, Illinois ("The City That Works" -- R.J. Daley) at noon on Monday, 13 July 2009.
