Doing Instruction: Instructional Approaches for Western European Studies and Beyond
Library instruction has become a critical part of Western European studies librarianship (indeed, all areas of librarianship). This session featured a rich array of instructional approaches by librarians working in Western European studies and beyond. The talks were not restricted to CMR but spanned the centuries and even European boundaries.

Romero, Ramona
Wikipedia vs. The Oxford Classical Dictionary: Which would you
choose?
Summary: Students are often being told not to use Wikipedia for their
research assignments because it is unreliable and not scholarly, but
what is their alternative? Having the "Wikipedia talk" is a great
opportunity to introduce student to subject specific encyclopedia that
can be used in place of Wikipedia.
