Purpose and Origins

To discuss topics of current interest pertaining to the acquisition, organization and use of Western European materials as these relate to the special situations of smaller library collections.
Established in 1988, this discussion group has a chair and chair-elect.

2008 Annual Agenda

We will not be meeting in person at ALA Midwinter 2008 (Philadelphia), but will meet at ALA Annual 2008 (Anaheim).

We are currently working with Special Topics to offer a program in Anaheim along the lines of "How do you collect for a language you do not speak?"
