- Vefbókasafnið - This "Web Library" is a cooperative effort among Iceland's public libraries linking to things Icelandic.

Norway
- Dokumentasjons-prosjektet - a major joint effort of Norwegian universities for digital documentation in such areas as history, folklore, literature, lexicography, ethnography and numismatics.
- National Library of Norway - with digital holdings in the millions.
Sweden
- Project Runeberg (LYSATOR at Linköping University, Sweden) - the largest Nordic literature site on the web.
- Numerous literary texts online, as well as a great deal of information about Nordic literature.
