GNARP Bibliographic Control Working Group

Dear colleagues,


if you have an interest in cataloging issues and library cooperation across national boundaries, I invite you to attend the meeting of the Bibliographic Control Working Group of the German-North American Resources Partnership (GNARP).


We will meet on Saturday, June 23, 2007, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Madison Hotel, John Adams Room. We will hear from Dr. Donald Panzera, Library of Congress, about cooperative projects with Germany in the realm of e-journal cataloging, and from Cornelia Katz, of the Bibliotheksservice-Zentrum Baden-Wuerttemberg, about German library consortia. There will also be a report on the international workshop on MARC21 that was held at the German National Library in May of this year.
